Store Policies ByteWare Computers Return & Exchange Policy ByteWare Computers warranties all products - except for Recordable Media & Software, for 30 days after the date of purchase. No refunds will be given cash or credit card. ALL SALES ARE FINAL, only store credit will be issued when applicable. This warranty does not include improper use, abuse, or installation. You must have your original receipt and all the original boxes and packaging. There will be NO exceptions. ByteWare Computers will not exchange any item that the UPC Label or Serial Number is missing or altered in anyway. No returns or exchanges are allowed after 30 days from the date of purchase. Merchandise Exchanges Merchandise exchanges will only be done for the same item. All items must be checked by one of our technicians before an exchange will be made. All attempts will be made to accommodate customers on the spot, but there are cases such as testing computer hardware that may require the item be left with us for no longer than 24 hours. If it is found that the item is in working order, there may be a $39.95 fee charged for bench time and the item will be returned to you. Items with Rebates For merchandise with rebates it is advised that you use the item and make sure there are no problems before you send in the rebate. Once the UPC Label is cut and mailed you will be instructed to contact the manufacturer for warranty service. ByteWare Computers will NOT exchange any item that the UPC label or serial number is missing or altered in anyway. ByteWare Computers reserves the right to refuse merchandise that has been used or damage after, or altered by the purchaser at the time of or after the sale. Merchandise Hold Policy Merchandise that has been placed on hold will remain so till the closing of the store for the requested day. For Example, a request is made at 10:30am, merchandise will be returned to the sales floor at 6:00pm, closing time for the store.
